Peter Moriarty
Peter Moriarty (1918–1985) was a New Zealand painter known for his mid-century landscapes. He was born in Pahiatua and worked as a senior government official, painting part-time until the 1980s. He is best recognized for his oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings of the South Island.
