At kindergarten all I wanted to do was paint, to this day I can remember how absolutely absorbing and thrilling it felt... It still feels like that now.

I studied art to fine arts level formally. I worked as a costume designer and a paint effects artist for several years before going back to my first love which is painting.

I have been painting professionally for nearly thirty years. While mostly self taught my early years in painting were with a group of established artists who recognized my enthusiasm and passion for painting. I have experimented with many techniques and mediums over the years, and move comfortably between realism and impressionism.

My work has sold readily from galleries and I have completed numerous commissions and exhibitions. Currently my work is represented in private and corporate collections here in New Zealand and overseas.

My goal is simple... I want to create works that uplift the soul and enhance human life spaces.
