Amazing oil on Belgium linen by the legendary New Zealand Artist Tim Wilson. Te Anau was painted in 2005 and sold through my gallery. Measures 600mm x 1200mm . It has now come back in for re-sale. Please pm me for additional images or to discuss price.
Tim was an absolute master of light when it came to his paintings.
It wasn't unusual to have 30 to 40 layers of translucent paint and glaze on his works. When the light changed so did the painting effect. They are not the easiest to photograph as they do change with the light. Stunning works xo
