The Bad Boys - I photographed these horses (Billy & Cocoa) at the end of a day during the NZ Goldfields Cavalcade. I watched as they became aggressive towards each other, ears flattened, necks snakey. I was in the right place at the right time, capturing the very brief sequence of events. It was all over in seconds, but they were spectacular.
I decided to paint them on a square canvas, rotated so that it hangs as a diamond shape. Framed in a simple tray frame.
