Clare Riddington Jones-The Glow of Sunset

This mountain and seascape was inspired by the shoreline on the edge of Lake Wakatipu.    The light at the end of the day is really magical and I wanted to portray that feeling in the painting.   I have used many layers of colour and some texture in various places.  It is a colourful but subtle painting which would enhance any room.
