Clare Riddington Jones-Morning Cuppa, Silvereyes

This art deco inspired bird painting is painted with acrylic on a raw linen canvas which gives the colours a very natural, subtle effect.   I have many Silvereyes flitting about my garden and as a bird photographer I have managed to achieve some wonderful photographs.  It is always good to be able to use your own references when painting.  It is a quirky painting which would look very interesting in many settings.
