Artwork Information

If you have ever visited New Zealand’s South Island you will be familiar with the majestic peaks and beautiful lakes with the clouds misting through the valleys. This painting was inspired by my walks through the valleys near my home in Queenstown. The light is always changing and the misty clouds dissipating as the day warms up. I love to paint colourful scenes and to use my palette knife to give the impression of the rugged mountains. It would be a wonderful reminder of the amazing scenery and would look lovely on any wall.
