Mary Mai

Born in Guangzhou China in 1964. Mary developed a desire for fine art as a child. From the age of 14, she was encouraged to further her career when she received a scholarship for formal art training while at high school.

Mary Immigrated to New Zealand with Ben Ho her Artist husband in 1988.

In 1992 Mary started to exhibit her art widely in New Zealand. Mary also helps her husband Ben give art tutorials.

Mary has won several New Zealand Art Awards including the professional category at Royal Easter Show in 1995 and 1996

Mary is currently living just out of Queenstown in the Lake Hayes area surrounded by the Mountains and Lakes which she loves to paint.
